So as many people know I don’t actually yet have my driving licence, which means that I rely on public transport for *a lot* of things. Fortunately for me Adelaide has a reasonable transit system, and though I get frustrated with it occasionally it does me good.
I did end up going for my L’s last year which means that I can drive a car while displaying my bright yellow ‘L’ plates in the window. I also must have a fully qualified driver (with a licence of more than 2 years) in the car with me at all times, and I cannot go above 80km/h legally.
So to move from my L to my P I must accumulate 50 hours of driving, including 10 hours of night time driving, as well as either -pass a test in which I complete ALL aspects of driving with a pass OR -have multiple lessons with a driving instructor and tick off all the components within a log book. This will happen once I have completed my hours. So, to complete my hours I’ve been relying on my friends to help me out and take my driving where I can. So i’m not a massive burden on them I haven’t done all that much at this point. So far, this is what is left:
Total Hours Left:
45.5 (Feb 22)
38.74 (May 24)
