I'm guessing since Apple basically had to hack up iOS 3.2 to work with the iPad, it was just an oversight. Probably when the iPad gets iOS 4 it'll have the feature back. I don't use it much, but as you said, it's a great feature to have when you do need it!

On a side tangent... How are you liking your iPad? My entire set of coworkers have them, but as I'm a student, I don't get the privilege of a company-provided one. I have to make do with my iPhone 4 (not that that's a bad thing!).

This is not likely a permanent scenario. As technology improves it may come to pass that 'meatfarming' involves very few animals. Then saying that your meat comes from the supermarket rather than an animal may be a distinction that has actual meaning to thinking individuals, rather than simply naivety.

I fear that the major thing which will preserve inhumane livestock practices will be that people will "think" about 'meat vats'. Or rather, they'll get to the start of thought, and proceed no further. A few wildly inaccurate mental images combined with the airing of old and no longer relevant decisions (also known as prejudices) will result in a popular sentiment that 'lab meat' is creepy and 'real meat' is better.

Mmm. Flavored by cruelty. Sigh.

Hello
ISGD doesn't cover sexuality.
It is for people who are other than strictly stereotypcially male or female physically, socially or behaviorually. When we came up with ISGD at SAGE we left out sexuality because that is something that can only come about when you have established your sex and gender identity.
It like you can only sail West when you know were other points on the compass are.
Some people have obvious intersex differences and some not. Some people experience sex differences that might not be oficially recognised as intersex. Other people experience gender differences.
ISGD is not used as a noun. It is a metaphrase to encapsulate many different groups of people from the ISGD spectrum.
It is a healing phrase to bring us together and take back our power and funding from all the different non ISGD communties who are condescendingly speaking out in our name, laying claim to our funding, damaging our human rights by misrepresentation and then giving us the left overs. What left overs?
You are so right about same sex marriage. What if you don't have a same sex?
Keep shouting it form the roof tops
Marriage Equality.........
Hope you get to skip down the isle soon
Lots of love....don't you love love?
Oh love to love you baby
Marriage Equality Now..when do we want..thats right Now!
PPS Remember ISGD Day April the 26th and have a picnic near you.

And i do think that thinking is a pleasure and must if its more than just letting your brain shoot random pictures at you, that's not thinking that's your brain telling you to use that ability for something.

Consumerism has to be the biggest thing that springs to mind. In today's society our value is based on what we own and Horlick we buy. The media keeps us reminded of that. Our clothes are out of style, our computers are too slow, we need a car, we need more furniture, we need new houses and another phone. We get depressed about not keeping up with the latest trends the people on TV and in ads and magazines are so we buy more stuff. And then we work long hours to pay for it. We come home tired, exhausted from working hard for our income, to relax watching TV only to have it tell us that we still need more stuff because we could be happier, only if. It's corporations and the economy that have implanted the biggest inception of all: we're worthless without our stuff. Take a look at The Story of Stuff, quite eye opening. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GorqroigqM

Did I just copy/paste? As the post says... yes, I found these facts elsewhere.

If you don't like what's on this site, don't visit it. Simple solution? I think so.
