A Cup Full of Memory
Posted on July 21st, 2009 No commentsThis post is the 100th Post I’ve done on this blog*. As it is such a big number, I thought I would share just a little bit more about me.
Yesterday I went to my grandmothers in the morning to help her do some stuff around the house before we headed out to pick up my cousin from the airport.

After doing a few chores (including pulling a dead dove out of the dove house :S ) I went inside, washed my hands and poured myself a lemonade. My Nan walked in and laughed to herself, then told me I was allowed to use a glass. You see, I had poured myself a glass of lemonade in the small plastic cups that I had always used at my grandmothers house.
In fact, one of my earliest memories is sitting under her patio area when I was about 5 years old at christmas. Us kids all had a cup of cordial in these plastic cups and were sitting around a smaller table while our Uncles and Aunties, Mums and Dads, Nans and Pops all sat around carving up the dinner.
I laughed at myself and explained this to her and she smiled and hugged me. Was a very touching moment!
