Day #2: Listen to Music

So in my 365 days of a Little change, #2 is too listen to music on your way to work/school/uni, etc. The trick is to make it your most favourite tracks that make you HAPPY. A recent study showed that poeple who listened to pop music, or music that made them happy were more likely

Speculation

I love grabbing hold of something I know little about, and weaving a story around it… My blog today kept receiving hits from someone with the same IP address searching for the term “is it illegal for a male teacher aged 25 with a female student aged 17 in NSW”. I can only assume that

Day #1: Forgive Them

To never forgive is like drinking a bottle if poison then waiting for your enemy to die. This quote is a great example of how we can do something little each day to really help out our life. The idea behind this is if each day we do something little, or change some tiny factor

Support the Fight

Hi All!

In Australia someone is diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma every hour of everyday. This means that within our lifetime it is almost inevitable that either ourselves, or someone very close to us is going to get this cancer.
Every two hours, someone loses their life to blood cancer.

In the fight to help those that have been diagnosed, and to raise money on the search for a cure, I am participating in the worlds greatest shave.

In just a few days now, I’ll be shaving my head to show my support for such a great charity. On the way, I’ll be collecting donations. So far, I’ve raised just under $600 on the attached site, and a couple hundred more in cash/cheque donations.

If you can donate even just a couple dollars, then it would be appreciated by myself & those who have been impacted by these cancers.

To donate, please go to:

Remember that every single dollar counts.

To those who have already donated- thank you very much! Your support spreads further than just the money you’ve put forward!

Thanks all,
Brodie

I Just Wanted to Say Sorry, and Thank You

Growing up, I’ve not really had many close friends. Throughout high school I became very close to a girl called Jess, and shared everything in my life with her.
When I moved to Adelaide, this close connection was broken and I began searching once again for someone to call a best friend.
A few years ago I met Bret & for a long time we were inseparable. As time went on, life did its thing and we grew apart. While we are still friends, we’re not as close as we once were.
So, today, I was considering my life & the people that are in it. These days being so busy with work & everything I realised that I’ve been an absolute prick to a lot of the people that I called friends once upon a time.

I’m not saying that I feel like I have no friends- real, honest, IRL friends- because I do. What I’m saying is that I am extremely grateful for these friends because I feel like I’ve put them on the backburner, so I can only imagine how they themselves feel.
